About Me
Hey it's Elsie here,I'm a pacifist, globetrotter and also a nerd. I'm an amateur translator, photographer and tutor. Speak 3 languages (Chinese,English and Spanish)and 2 dialects(Taiwanese and Hakka). For me, meeting new friends and getting to know new cultures is the best thing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Instead of being a tourist who only does sightseeing and taking pictures, I prefer to travel around, deeper to get to know the locals, because traveling isn't just about upload status on Facebook. In my opinion, traveling is the way you get to know more from others and also yourself, know the stories of people and places, that's simply blissful. So local life is the reason why I'm on couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've conquered yellow mountains in China with my best friends, started climbing while the sky was completely dark that we can only use the flashlight to see the dangerous path, we had walked all the way up for 8 hours with pouring rain and sweating in the raincoat, and we did make it to the top! It made me wonder the toughest journey turns out to be the sweetest memory.
