I am finding very positive connections from couchsurfing and I have been so, so lucky with the people I’ve met. ***HOWEVER: I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A BOYFRIEND, or sex, or dating, or games, or anything related. This is firm and my mind will not change :)*** I like to spend my time well, and I like others to have clarity on my intentions, so that they can spend their time well, too. I’m very grateful that the majority of men in CS are so kind and respectful!!!! 😊

If there's one way travel has changed me thus far, I would identify it as having replacing my dogmatic nature with a tendency towards pursuing greater understanding, different perspectives, ways of life, etc.. or if not understanding them, then at least appreciating them, and trying not to create a hierarchy of them. I don't think anymore that there is any RIGHT or WRONG way. There's no way that is necessarily "better" either, on the grand scale. To let go of the certainly I had in some of my beliefs has actually really opened my mind by allowing me to question myself and the world. It has brought me closer to people and helped me let go of judgement and resentment. It has made my experience far more enriching.
I really believe that life is an adventure, and that it is our responsibility to fulfill this opportunity with experiences that enrich us, teach us, open our minds, and make us feel that deep happiness that can only be reached when you know you are following your heart to the fullest extent-- completely void of a fear of embarrassment or failure or expectations. I hope to find some of that on here, and I look forward to meeting you, hoping that we can learn from each other!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm not using CS so much for surfing anymore. But I still rely on it to meet people as I'm traveling. Particularly exciting are the locals who offer such a valuable and interesting perspective on the place I'm in. Things that can't be read online.

CS has given me some incredible friends and really enduring relationships. I've met some of the absolutely BEST people from here, and I'm really grateful for those opportunities.
