Just finished the Pacific Crest Trail 2023 🏕️🏔️

I'm crazy about all outdoor sports, and for travelling, the best and purest way (in our opinion) is to do this by hiking. It's absolutely wonderful to see the world passing by slowly. Nature is my hometown, and I try to get out there as much as possible.

Besides study, friends & family I try to give in to my travel instinct whenever the bankaccount allows me to.

Reason for travelling? The world is a fascinating place & nature is the place we ought to be.

The reason why I couchsurf is to be able to meet locals, and be off the beaten track.

兴趣

I practice the Dutch sport 'survivalrunning', which is a run through the fields/water/mud with some 40-60 obstacles (like rope climbing, monkeybars etc); its a battle against nature's elements (rain, sunshine, storm, cold, hot). Sporting is my regular, daily way of burning off my energy.
