ABOUT ME

I'm an instructional designer for a small private university in northern Milwaukee. I got married in June of 2013 to Rachel, the most lovely person I know; she is a faculty member (Spanish and ESL) at a technical college in the area . I have lived in Germany (Marburg, Berlin, and Freiburg) for roughly three years total. I love: music, food, wine, beer, sports, talking, reading, writing, and being out of my comfort zone. We just relocated to Milwaukee from Indianapolis in June, 2014.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed for 8 weeks throughout Europe in February/March of 2010. Such an awesome experience, and definitely time for me to pay it forward.

Interests

Wow -- a lot. I am a sports fanatic. Football, futbol, basketball, baseball -- but also love individual sports. I've been a long time competitive swimmer and have transitioned into running and triathlons. All types of music -- listed below. Movies and books are a staple as well.

I can talk about music for hours -- although I have zero musical talent whatsoever.

Got married. Dove off the top of a submarine into the pacific ocean.
