If you ask my friends, most of them would say I sing a lot. And I make joyful noises with instruments sometimes. I'm usually fun on better days. I'm quite perky; weird but perky (in a good way). I usually travel with my guitalele as my travel companion. I love travelling because it always leads me to meeting new interesting people, language, culture, and especially FOOD. I can cook some traditional food from my country (Indonesia) for my hosts as my token of gratitude. Looking forward to sleep on your couch! ;D

4. It's heartwarming to receive a stranger's kindness, letting us into their house for no fee.

"Lass dich nicht unterkriegen, sei frech und wild und wunderbar." The quote from Pippi Langstrumpf (Pippi Longstocking) has recently become my life motto. It means, "Don't let it bring you down, be naughty and wild and wonderful." When during those times women were oppressed in many aspects of life, Pippi Longstocking was riding horses and doing adventures, as if she's saying, "Screw you and your rules! I'll be whoever I want to be!" As a woman, I can tell you from my personal experiences that emancipation is still an issue in a lot of countries. By travelling, I'm following the example of Pippi Longstocking by going on adventures, doing crazy stuff, and of course, "screwing the rules".
