Hi everyone~ I'm away in Rio for the Olympics from August 4 through the end of the month. ****
I'm spontaneous, adventurous, and enjoy outdoor activities. I like to take the road less traveled by with open arms.
I have been running since I was six years old and formerly ran for a university in TEXAS. Currently, I am working on a book I wrote called Hurdles In The Dark and I run two businesses in New York City, a non-profit for underprivileged children (www.juniorrunners.org) and a youth sports development program. I've saved refugees in the water of Lesvos, Greece and I've cooked for children in the villages of Cambodia. I have a passion for helping others and making others laugh.
I love meeting new people and am amused by the diversity of this universe.
I have many philosophies. Just ask me on what subject and i will love to answer :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On December 2015 I raised some money for the refugees affected by the war in Syria and heading to turkey and Lesvos to donate the money and volunteer. I went to lesvos with no plans and ended up volunteering as an emergency responder as the boats arrived on shore and I also cooked daily for over 300 refugees.
Also, one of the best experiences was going to London during the 2012 games and watching the games. It was inspiring and interesting to meet all these incredible athletes.
