About Me
Hi y'all!
My goal here is to use virtual connections to create human ones.
I'm just living life one day at a time. I recently moved to Dallas and started working out of my comfort zone in business. In my spare time I like to call my family, read poetry, and brew really great coffee. I love listening to music and getting caught in the melodies or the feeling of skateboarding over fresh pavement.
I'm an Ohioan born and raised, but have spent some time overseas in Indonesia visiting an outrageously large family. I've also spent a month camping in Belize for an archaeological field school excavating Mayan ruins.
I always try to remember: If I'm not having fun, why not?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I haven't had much "official" Couchsurfing experience, but I've conveniently crashed on plenty of friends' couches. My most recent experience is right now! I'm currently staying with a friend in Vallejo for a couple of days with a friend but would like to crash somewhere closer to downtown SF.
I hope to connect with cool, relaxed people and learn a thing or two about a different experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I travelled to Nepal and got to hike near the Annapurna Himalayas. They definitely make you feel small.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe it's the archaeologist in me, but I love learning about the histories of people and places. I like to figure out possible causes of certain effects in time and understanding motivations.
I used to work in coffee, and love talking about brew methods. I also like to share my favorite poets and jazz tunes for those interested.
