When I'm not exploring new places, I'm dreaming about new places. I grew up doing road trips with my family so I'm happiest when I can just get out and go somewhere new!

I worked in the specialty coffee industry for 10 years and now I am focussing on my own photography practice. The two go together quite well. :) Currently, I'm really interested in ideas of community and space (like cafes).

I love a good conversation, beyond the small talk, and I love love good food. I'm also a big fan of classic cocktails and not-too-hoppy pale ales.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I've always wanted to try couch surfing but aside from staying on friends couches, it'd just never seemed to work out (you can see I have been on here for a long time but with no experience)!

The idea of couchsurfing is so appealing! To get to meet someone in their neighbourhood, maybe make a new friend or hear about a killer local spot. It's all amazing!

Interesses

Good conversation with good food and drink is pretty much my jam. I'm also down for a good board game or just chilling with some beers at a local pub. Mostly I just like to wander and explore with my camera.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: I'm super excited that two of my favourites, Sufjan Stevens and Jose Gonzalez are both putting out a new album this year! I like any music, as long as it's good. Well, most music. I am more into mellow that anything aggressive (hardcore, metal, etc).

Books: all I have been reading has been for school lately, but I loved On Photography by Susan Sontag, I'm also a big fan of the Vivian Maier photo books. I enjoy a lot of non-fiction. Malcolm Gladwell is one of my favourite writers.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One of my favourite trips was driving the west coast of Ireland with two of my best friends 1.5 years ago. I won't ever forget the views that we saw. I truly think Ireland is heaven on earth. Ask me about it. :)
