ABOUT ME

I live in Virginia with my mom and cat, Kwiyomi. I teach English online to children in China. Teaching English is my passion. I used to live in S. Korea while I taught English in an academy. I started travelling when I loved in S. Korea. I have been to Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, and Cambodia. I love travelling and backpacking. The time I spent travelling gave me so many great memories. I met awesome people and saw amazing things. And now I can't stop travelling. lol

Other stuff about me would be that I am recently married, love music and dancing, watch a lot of Korean dramas, and love food. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever makes me happy! Seriously, being sad, angry, mad, or regretful sucks. So I always try to live day to day doing things that keeps me smiling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in S. Korea, I would go to CS meetings and game nights. When I traveled I felt a bit shy and stayed in hostels. I have couchsurfed before in Vietnam but it wasn't attained through this website. Now, I want to try more couchsurfing in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got into CS through a really great, amazing person! I joined the site a while ago but I haven't hosted yet. I would like to host one day when I don't live in a rural area because I have met some amazing people through my travels and hope to do the same for others. but I like participating in meet-ups and events.

Kpop and Kdramas. I like English Literature and sappy romantic comedies and novels. I also love musicals! Wicked is my all time favorite followed by Rent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a bicycle from South Vietnam to North Vietnam. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. I would gladly do it again.
