ABOUT ME

Hello World! My name is Elyse Miller and I am currently fulfilling a life dream of mine: Backpacking across the world for 15 months! So my husband, Danny, and I will be venturing and exploring and experiencing from October 2025 - January 2027! I’m thankful I have made the decision for myself to knock this off of my bucket list and I plan on staying present and experiencing everything this year with childlike wonder!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love love love getting to know the place I am venturing to and seeing it from a locals perspective! I always make new friends when I couchsurf! I’ve loved every stay I’ve had through couchsurfing…typically it is one of the highlights of my trip!

Interests

I have been told I ask too many questions. But I want to learn everything. I want to see everything. So if asking questions is going to get me there, that is exactly what I am going to do. I have always been aware of what little time I have on this earth and I'm not going to waste a single moment of it not being curious or grateful that there are answers out there if I just take the time to look!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oldies are my happy music but I truly love it all! I live for live music and music festivals! Dancing to live music makes me come alive; My top five favorite films are Amelie, Garden State, Almost Famous, Remember the Titans, and The Lion King; There is absolutely no way I would be able to tell you my favorite book, there are too many!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For 12 summers I worked 80+ hours a week selling educational motivational material, like books and apps and websites, to families door to door! It was challenging and awesome and I’m grateful on how much it grew my EQ! I've also traveled to 30 different countries and once lived in a tent in a warehouse in North Amsterdam for a month. That was fun :]
