I am a positive, lively person. I like going out with friends occasionally, exploring new places and meeting new people.

I enjoy spending time outside. A perfect day usually includes a BBQ with fun people and interesting conversations. I try to be as healthy as possible - I enjoy exercising and do my best to eat healthy.. but that doesn't always work out as well as I would want it to.

I love reading and watching good movies. Music is important, too - it can alter one's mood very easily which is amazing.

There are many songs that fit different moments of my day: spending time at the pool/the beach on a sunny day - Sleep On The Floor by The Lumineers or Gotten by Slash and A. Levine; getting ready for a night out - God's Plan by Drake or Paradise City by GnR; walking down the street and looking for a nice beat that matches every step - I Rep That West by Ice Cube.

A big part of traveling is meeting new people, and meeting locals provides the opportunity to make new friends, learn even more about the place you are visiting and enjoy cultural exchange.

Seeing new places is absolutely incredible, but one can only get the true experience of a country when having the chance to chat and spend some time with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

The type of music I listen to really depends on the mood I am / want to be in. I like jazz for calm evenings. I like rock, mostly 80's-90's.
Queen, MJ, Guns n Roses, RHCP, The Lumineers, Amy Winehouse.
Often, I like listening to rap, e.g. Tupac, Biggie, Dre. From time to time also enjoy reggae.

All time favorite book - Harry Potter. A true masterpiece and the first (and the best) story I remember reading as a child. I enjoy reading biographies and books about history.

Regarding movies - that also depends on my mood. I like biographies, comedies, dramas, horror movies and thrillers. I really enjoy watching psychological thrillers. Some of my all time favorite movies are: Into The Wild, A Beautiful Mind, The Pursuit of Happiness, Braveheart, Get Out, Shutter Island, Gone Girl..

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about different cultures and different points of view on various subjects. I absolutely love listening to people's travel experiences and stories about all kinds of adventures.

I like to cook, so, I'd be happy to do that for sure.

I can share information and some facts about my country and its culture as well as my view of Latvians AS a Latvian. :)

I enjoy talking to people about topics that are of particular interest to both of us - talking to a person about a subject that they have a strong opinion about is amazing. These conversations always turn out to be very passionate and after them, I always find myself able to look at that particular subject from yet another point of view.
