Hey, I'm Emily! I enjoy almost anything music, photography, (attempting) to learn new languages, spending time in cafes, playing sports (specifically soccer/futbol), exploring/adventuring, and spending time with my friends.

I'm currently a senior in college studying at Penn State University. I love to travel, explore new places and make new friends! I spent the entire last year studying abroad in Portugal and Brazil, with little travels in between. I consider Brazil a second home to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the things I love about traveling is the opportunity to meet new people and learn from them. I love learning about new cultures and I believe the most important thing about a culture is not the places, food, lifestyle, etc. but the people. So what better way experience a new culture than from people immersed in it on a consistent basis?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to three countries in one day: Breakfast in Argentina, lunch in Paraguay, and dinner in Brazil!
