About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission? Oh dear. I often wonder what I'm doing tomorrow. I think my mission is to be happy and to allow others that same happiness. The details bog us down.
ABOUT ME
My special person (Sean) and I have been traveling for the last couple of years, winding our way around the world. In December 2011 the modern dance company I dance with went on a two-week tour to China. Sean came with as "technical support." That jumpstarted our taste for travel and sent us off on a 4-month trip through Asia: China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and 2 months in India (on a Bajaj scooter!). In late 2012 we adventured a little closer to home, opting for a 5-week road trip across America: San Francisco (our home base), Santa Barbara, along the 10 across southern America (Austin/Houston/Biloxi), up the east coast through Savannah, Charleston and on to Pennsylvania. In early 2013 we spent a few months living in New York City before heading off to Europe for 5 months of biking (yes, biking!). It was an INCREDIBLE experience. We found ourselves in: Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland... before flying to Iceland for a week. We just returned stateside in early September and our heads are spinning.
But we're setting the wheels in motion almost immediately on our next adventure: REAL LIFE. And "real life" includes figuring out where we are going to live next. ... That's where you come in, Couchsurfing Community! We are planning a one-month trip through New England to look at cities and property for our next big idea: opening our very own coffee roasting business and café.
So. Here. We. Go!
PHILOSOPHY
I think I live my life to be happy. I fully, sincerely believe in honesty. And I enjoy people who enjoy life to its fullest. Genuine, unadulterated excitement about little details --- that's the best.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have stayed with Couchsurfers around the world and continually place these experiences at the TOP of our list of memorable moments. A town - a culture - an experience are that much richer when you can meet the people living within the scene itself. I can not wait until we have our own place to call home and host others!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies... Frida for me. Sean says Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Music... We just saw Of Monsters and Men in Iceland. So so so so amazing!! Others.. Bon Ivar, Passion Pit, Jonsi, Norah Jones, fun. Sean adds Of Montreal, Coco Rosie, and Justice.
Books... I love Gabriel Garcia Marquez's world. Magical fantasy fiction is my favorite - when it rings true and is twisted just a bit. Sean falls asleep when I read to him.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deciding to go on this trip, every trip. Deciding to make today an adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ah... teach... Dance, how to move and how to watch... how to appreciate from a vantage point of truth.
Writing and reading of poetry and stories.
Giggling.
