About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The apartment that I currently live in in LA is pretty small and I have 2 roommates but I'm definitely willing to help show people around LA as best as I can. I'm still learning about the city everyday but there are some great concert venues, restaurants and hip stores to check out. Silverlake, Los Feliz and Hollywood/weho I know best.
Also, if anyone is going to western mass I can probably help suggest places to go and maybe find a couch for you to stay on over there.

Interests

going to concerts, farmers markets, ice cream, meeting new people, Tattoos (I have 4, and want more), eating beignets, Visiting San Francisco, watching British TV (the mighty boosh, blackbooks, nevermind the buzzcocks, etc) nonstop bhangra dancing, biking, Campfires, Indie Mart, Vespas, traveling, comedy, driving my 95 black nissan altima with the windows down bumping Street Dogs when I'm back home in western mass represent, etc, etc,etc

My music list is too long, from Les Savy Fav to Ani Difranco to Stiff Little Fingers. My books list is also too long, some authors I like include Junot Diaz, Augusten Burroughs, David Sedaris, Barbara Kingsolver, Martin Espada, Julia Alvarez, etc.
Movies- Cannibal the Musical, Everything is Illuminated, Napoleon Dynamite, Amelie, Quadrophenia, Trainspotting, Raising Victor Vargas, The Lost Boys, A Bronx Tale, American History X, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting(and hugging!) Joe Strummer after a Mescaleros show that I went to with my dad at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT a year before he passed away.

My trip to Israel in 8th grade. From visiting the Western Wall and Masada to riding camels and staying in a Bedouin tent during a sandstorm to my first kiss with Aaron Rosenblum, best. trip. ever.

Discovering Dominican punk rock, hip hop and hardcore in the Dominican Republic. Swimming in the clearest waters in Bayahibe. Sponge bathing in the dark after the electricity went out at random.

Countries I’ve Visited
