ABOUT ME

As a college student, I dabbled in every possible field you can image– psychology, French, architecture, chemistry, history, photography– before eventually graduating with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Education. I started my professional career as a high school English teacher in Chicago. I then set my sights abroad, and ended up teaching in the Paris, France region for a couple of years at the junior high level. I returned to the States to continue my studies at the graduate level, and I'm currently working as a college librarian.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with friends of friends in Germany. What a wonderful experience. It completely influenced the way I think about traveling. I also attended a conference in D.C. and had a fantastic time staying with a fellow couchsurfer.
