My ideal Sunday would be to take a walk to the lakeside, sit down with a blanket and sketch the view, or the people passing by. And get coned ice cream from the street vendor. If I had a good friend to converse with while doing these, it would be even better. I have lived and traveled in many different countries, and what I know for sure is that you are shaped by what kind of people you surround yourself with. Having friends who you trust is the most important factor wherever you go. Some say, home is where the heart is.

For me, home is where your true friends are.

My philosophy

Do to others what you would want them to do for you. This philosophy works both ways. Don't do something to someone that you wouldn't want to be done to you. Having a good karmic balance is important in my life and I try to live life without planning too far ahead. Because sometimes, you can be so wrapped up with your plans that you miss an opportunity that comes unexpectedly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have done couchsurfing in Prague and Bologna. When travelling by myself or with a friend, couchsurfing is the way to go. I love meeting people in their cities. It seems that the place I visit becomes much more personal, friendly once you see it from someone else's eyes.

Interests

I am in love with swimming. Here I try to go swimming in the lake Leman as much as possible.

I try to read a lot and right now am interested passionately in the human brain. Have gotten my hands on popular science books and have been divulging them like good gelato.
