I am an old help-exchanger who, thanks a specific service site, usually travels and works abroad giving a hand as requested by hosts, in change of accomodation, food and an internet connection. I live with my son who's 25 y. o. and me, gosh, I'm going to be 60 (time really flies away).

My interests: movies, literature, languages, translation, gardening, bricolage/DIY.

Also (very important, due to a lot of requests I was sorry to decline) check on maps my location and be aware I live in a small village on a hillside in the middle of Emilia (part of region Emilia-Romagna, formed by two ones), hundreds kilometers/miles far from Tyrrenian, Adriatic or Ligurian sea.

PAY ATTENTION, PLEASE: because of a bug of coachsurfing site, many people misunderstand my location and ask me hospitality thinking of famous Cinque Terre (would be 'five lands' in English), a stunning area on the Ligurian sea (i.e. the five beautiful villages on the sea in the province of La Spezia named Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore). Sorry, where I live there is an homonym village (Cinqueterre) which is a hamlet without touristic attractions: before requesting, be sure you want to couch in the middle of nowhere.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I travelled driving my very old car to France, Portugal, Croatia and, except Galicia, the whole Spain. When I travel by that tiny tinbox on wheels, avoiding tools and motorways, it takes me a lot of time to go on. Until now I had rest sleeping inside my car— but, hey, I am not that young, sometimes I need to rest some hours on a couch more comfortable than my old model Fiat Panda.
