Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm here because I think it's a great way to get a first touch with the locals and make new friends with different culture from all around the world. I found it's really enriching to met new person which have diffrent way of thinking. I had meet some people who give me the opportunity to discover a bit more about the world we live in and the humanity, but mostly about myself. For me, couchsurfing is also a way to bring me out of my confort zone, as I'm a bit shy. But you know, life starts at the end of you confort!

Who know, maybe you gonna be part of those people who change my way to seing life and make me so graceful of it :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Each moment of my life is a part of an extraordinary adventure but one of the best is... I think it was the first time I leave everything to travel by myself at 18 years old. During this trip, I have been in Morocco for 2 months to meet someone I knew since I was 13 years old (yeah, you probably understand what I truly mean here even if I try to keep it secret :p) . A grew a lot from this experience...

But I think the most extraordinary is yet to come :p

Even if I come from Canada, i'm not perfect in English because I came from the french part of it: Québec ! But if you want to improve your french (or laught about my accent that is so much more different of the one that you can hear in France), I can help you to practice it !

I'n not a really good cooker without pinterest or some recipes books... BUT I can tell you the secret of the famous ''poutine'', our national (québécois) dish !

As a social worker, I truly believe in the capacity of improvement of everyone, no matter of how far he comes, and the possibility to grow from our faillures and became better. So, I think that everyone should know that, as it saids, it's never to late to become what you meant to be... And everything became possible when you decide to make it happen. Stop overthinking about it; start believe and doing instead ;)

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I like to share part of my culture and his history, show what is the true reality of being a canadian. Some tips and advices to permit to them to enjoy their holiday in my city and of course a safe place to drop their lugages and sleep. I know that some traveller have a really busy schedule and I don't have problem to adapt myself to this reality, but I like to share at least one meal with them and few thoughtful discussions to be able to learn something about their stay and their person that could make me say that i'm not exactly the same person that I was before this meeting and have something about you to keep in mind after your gone :)

When it's my turn to be host, I can say that I expect..quite the same of what I will give when I host someone :)
