ABOUT ME

I'm a student at Hull University in my 3 year studying computer science, although it will be my 4th year at the university (I studied languages in my first).

Im not sure what I want to do when I leave university, but I would very much like to make a difference for good in this world. I would have liked to be a paramedic but I am looking forward to seeing where computers takes me.

I love the city of hull, despite it's reputation. It is one of the friendliest places I have ever been to. The area I live in is near the university with lots of little shops and lots of bars. Its great for exploring East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and I would recomend a walk over the Humber Bridge.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a list of things I want to do before I die, and Im pretty well on my way to doing a lot of them. The idea came to me at a fairly bad time of my life and it got me out of it. I think it is an extension of my love of travel, because I realised even as a poor student i can still discover something amazing everyday, e.g recently I learned how to make sushi, Ive been watching the best films ever made and learning how to dance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to the meetings in London and hope to go travelling and meet new people when I graduate. I have also surfed a fair few couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to the CS meet in London a fair bit, and couchsurfed a few times.

Interests

I love traveling and have recently discovered hitch-hiking. I also play a few musical instruments, mainly flute and sax, and in my spare time I volunteer at my university, and also am in the kayak club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sunrise over the Malaysian rain forest as i flew back to KL from Kuantan. The plane was quite low and i could clearly see into the forest below with all the wildlife waking up. It was beautiful :D
