COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed 5 years ago on a motorcycle trip across the USA and had an amazing experience. Every surfer host I stayed with was very cool, no exceptions. I'm amazed by just how well this whole thing works out. I've meet all sorts of people from grad students in Montana to Unicycle riders in South Dakota to Icelandic engineers in Utah. I can't think of a better way to experience the world and meet new, interesting people who I would otherwise have no way to be introduced to.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to Taipei for 26 hours to give a talk at a conference when I was in grad school. That was probably the most interesting weekend of my life. I'd love to go back and actually have some time to explore the country because it was absolutely beautiful. Besides that, where else can you eat pigeon, shrimp with the heads and eyeballs still on them, and drink Taiwan Beer?
