ABOUT ME
A true child of the sun, born in the Fiji Islands, raised on Australia's most famous beach (Bondi!) and was recently Living in the depths of ethereal darkness in Sweden...and Loving it!
Now I am back in the sunshine of Sydney and starting some new studies in Interior Design and working for an exterior Design company.
The experience of Living in Europe was such a treat and it was so wonderful to be so closely connected to so many different cultures, languages and environments.
Which is where a big portion of my personal interests lie - People, History, Culture, Mythology, Food, Music and Dance.
I'm a surfer girl at heart and Love being near the ocean but am also open to learning new things and generally getting out of my comfort zone. I have a lot of Time and Love for people, so anytime I can help share an experience or teach a skill I have, I will do so wholeheartedly.
I've also never met a dance floor I didn't like and can dance the days away with a good beat and great people.
FOOD! It is a passion of mine and I Love to cook and share meals. The whole process from land or sea onto the plate and into happy mouths can be quite absorbing for me.
Sometimes I like to discuss the big stuff and sometimes I'm just happy to take it all in - whatever the mood, I Love to communicate and one of my Life values is that communication should always enhance the experience of those who particpate - I believe that an opposing point of view can be just as enjoyable as 2 or more people carrying the same vibe.
PHILOSOPHY
If your gonna do it, then do it properly.
Why not! Tomorrow, I could get hit by a bus.
Always with Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunsets over the Stockholm Archipelago. Dancing till 6 in the morning, under a lighthouse at a music festival in the south of France. Surfing Cloudbreak in Fiji. Managing Tony Hawk and his team of skateboarders on a promotional tour of Oz. Witnessing childbirth (not mine) twice - absolute miracle!. Cooking my first thanksgiving meal for 20 people. Owning my own cafe in Bondi and all the amazing friendships I gained from it. Watching the sun rise over Paris from the Sacre Cour.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that there is something very authentic and central to the human experience via this practice of couch surfing. To me it harks back to a time when travel wasn't just about tourism and we opened or hearts and doors to the new souls within our midst in the hopes for new knowledge and experiences.
My cultural values as a Pacific Islander tie me to this experience; of doing our best to sincerely care for those who are new to our community and willing to engage with their new environment.
This exchange should be based on a spiritual and cultural fulfillment as opposed to monetary gains.
