ABOUT ME

I'm all for dressing monochormatically, working on my bike, joking around, making loud goblin noises in public spaces, experimenting with cookie recipes, bathing in mud, consuming large amounts of chocolate, either evading or befriending the authorities, rolling around in the grass and posing as a woman of mystery when the situaton calls for it.

Interests

Guitar, mandolin, banjo, washboard, drums and the spoons (I play them all to varying degrees!) Playing with my funkrockbluegrass band -- The Good Time Pirates, Ultimate frisbee, trouble causing, eating pizza, biking (I have a sweet Schwinn with an orange WAWA crate on the back!) gallivanting about and slowly making my way around the world, spending time with my glorious family, walking through the woods/along any river anywhere, sleeping and making goblin noises like "gdhsagfsjhfhj!"

Music, Movies, and Books

First off, I LOVE celtic music. Jigs. Reels. Slip-jigs. You name it -- I love them all. Then, onto the other stuff. Arcade Fire, The Shins, Of Montreal, Kings of Convenience and the Decemberists have been keepings me going lately. I'm also really into making dance mixes. I consult my collection of sweet 80s and/or disco hits for this. And bluegrass. Everything bluegrass.
