About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the sights, do the things, and taste the beer.

ABOUT ME

My name is Mark, I enjoy the little things in life, and playing guitar writing folk songs.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm here to fly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new to this community. I signed up after hearing a friend's experience, and I am not sure what to expect from the CS Project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While my experience in CouchSurfing is limited, I definitely love meeting new people. I find that shaking things up and seeing different perspectives is the best way to grow as a person. And I admire those people who can share endless stories.

Interests

I am interested in the feeling of hot sand between my toes. I like hearing stories. Especially people's stories, and their experiences, perspectives, anything. I love doing things I have never done before.

Music, Movies, and Books

velvet underground, bright eyes, atmosphere, busdriver, tegan and sara, kaki king, daniel johnston, living legends, snow patrol, queen, johnny cash, beck, peter bjorn, rilo kiley, dashboard confessional, bob marley, flobots, elliott smith.

Books: I love to read. I read as many trashy books as hard books. I am into philosophical books, and books that make you think. Political books are good, and comedic books are a good change in pace. But i do shy away from more historical and dry books. Jane Austin being an example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the base of the Matterhorn and climbed a little of it. I ran with the bulls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find myself trying to learn many many things, but as with everything, there just is not enough time in the world to learn everything I would like.
