ABOUT ME

I am a Social Worker at a federal hospital here in Palo Alto for Veteran's with Spinal Cord Injuries. It is a stressful crazy place to work, but I love it for the most part, but my vacations are my escape. I try to take at least one big trip per year and a couple other long weekend trips out of the country.

I grew up in the country in Oregon and although I enjoy the country to visit I am a city girl. I just moved back to California from Miami. I am fairly new to the bay area and am meeting some cool people. I have lived in Oregon, Washington, Florida, California, up state New York, England, Spain, Japan, and Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life doing everything you enjoy. You only live once and don't end up 60 looking back at your life wishing you would have done more!! Do it now, you never know what tomorrow brings.

I have used couch surfer once, hosted a few times.

used it once in Helsinki and it was a great experience. Have hosted a few times and every time it has been a great experience.

Interests

I love traveling :), spending time with friends, low key bars, dinner parties, hiking, outdoor activities, playing with my puppy. I love ethnic foods.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most American music except country. I am not a huge music buff so although i enjoy a lot of other cultures music when I hear it I don't follow it. I love to read when I have time, and have read a lot of amazing books. Movies I love and often spend my brain dead time watching them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen some amazing places, but the two that top my list are the clifs of Moore in Ireland and the ice caves in Austria. The caves had some amazing formations that I never expected. I recently completed a five day backpacking trek in Southern Chile in Torres Del Pine national park.
