Overview
About Me
I am an open, active and friendly person who enjoys getting to know new people and see new places.
I love being spontaneous and it feels amazing follow through with those ideas.
I study Biodiversity and Ecology in Innsbruck, Austria.
I love to be outside, hiking, watching birds, sleeping outside or doing sports.
I am very into nature, especially ornithology (birding and ringing) and quite recently wild bees and grasshoppers.
I love to read but I can't find enough time right now because there are hundred other things on my mind I want to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had a great CS experience in the Netherlands, Paris and Strasbourg and want to keep meeting people and get to know new places.
I was surprised by the impact the people I already met through CS had on me and I want to keep having meaningful and interesting encounters.
And also: Couchsurfing is not a dating plattform so be respectful!!! (it is sad I have to mention that...)
Interests
Birds! I
Of course traveling, all kinds of sports (I play volleyball sometimes and I have been doing Taekwondo for many years) , animals and all kinds of different people.
I love surfing but I am still very bad at it, so I spend most of my time in the water getting destroyed by the ocean 🤷♀️.
Learning all kinds of things and being curious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua
Rode my bike three days from my hometown to my university
Slept in the forest of the Saxon Switzerland to watch a beautiful sunrise by myself
Slept on a roof to wake up with a view of the Eiffel Tower (it was not a rooftop balcony :D)
Spent several days in the mountains to ring migrating birds. Ring snow finches in the Austrian Alps.

If you are completely new to birding we can go outside and I can show you how to identify the birds. (European birds :D, not in south america)
