Hi!
I'm a student currently studying Linguistics and Computer Science. I grew up in the San Fransisco Bay Area, but I now go to school in Montréal, Canada.

I have a love for languages. This includes learning about them, learning to speak them, and the opportunities to meet and get to know people that speaking different languages provides.

I doodle a lot, and I love to try different forms of art (even if I'm not too great at them). I currently enjoy screen printing, but sadly don't have the opportunity to do it much. Also, I love food and am always looking for new things to try! (although I am admittedly not the best chef...)

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people, hearing their stories, and learning about their experiences. I think there's something about traveling and meeting people in different cities that gives you a perspective on the places you're staying that you wouldn't get staying at a hotel or hostel.

Favorite Books: Anything by Terry Pratchett, but I love nonfiction as well

Favorite Music: I like a variety! What I listen to most changes weekly, often along with the language I'm learning.

My favorite memories are often made while traveling. I once climbed up a billboard to get a good view (definitely worth it, despite my slight fear of heights), and also took at 2-and-a-half day train ride across part of Canada. If you ever have the chance to take the train a long distance, do it! It's awesome!

If you're learning English, I can help you practice (I have experience as an English teacher), and if you're learning languages in general, I can give you tips that I've learned through my experience and my studies of linguistics.
