Hi there! Emie here :) Currently on a sabbatical from my job back in Belgium and taking some time to explore our beautiful little planet one country at a time. I'm travelling solo and enjoying it very much but i do very much enjoy connecting with other fellow travellers, yogis, nature lovers and adventurous people at heart. Another thing about me, I love the ocean and recently discovered that I equally love being in the mountains, hiking! Basically I’m a big fan of any outdoor activity and discovering a country and its culture and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A place is only as good as the people that make a place into a home. It's for this reason that I think couch surfing is one of the best ways to visit a place as the people know more history, culture, and tips and tricks to discover a city than what any hostel or tourist website can offer. I haven’t had the chance to be a couch surfer yet, but I have hosted many friends and friends of friends in my home in Brussels and it’s always been really lovely!!

Music: My taste is very diverse but right now I love listening to indie folk music.

I recently obtained my yoga instructor certification and would love to share a practice together. I’m also learning how to play the guitar at the moment… still very very beginner but slowly getting there!
And I love to cook so very happy to share a meal together 😊
