About Me

I'm a 18 years old German girl, who just finished school and is tired of boring systems and rules. So escaping them with traveling seems to be the perfect idea. I like to dance, to laugh, to talk, to read, to listen to music and to make my own decisions. I like adventures, nature, new stuff, food and cool and interesting people and hope that I'm one of them too, but I guess telling this is up to you after we talked for a bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I travel is that I wanna know as much as possible about the countries, cultures, people and places of our world. Not just by reading but by seeing with my own eyes and listening with my own ears. So staying with people who are locals seems to be the clue to get a 'real' (or at least pretty close to 'real') idea of the place. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to do right that.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
Music is absolutely one of my favorite parts of life. I'd even say I'm not sure if the life would be worth living without all the good music available. But there is so much good music that it's pretty hard to list it all. And my favorites also vary from time to time. But right now I'm really into
Pink Floyd, David Bowie, New Order, Rolling Stones, Alt-J, Kings of Leon, Bonobo, Nirvana, The Doors, RHCP, Queen, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Nick Cave, Moderat, Kollektiv Turmstraße and good goa, drum' n' bass and techno in general. :)

BOOKS
It's pretty much the same with books as it is with music. There are so many and gladly so many good ones too.
But I really enjoy the books from Siri Hustvedt, Paul Auster, Isabelle Allende, Max Frisch... And of course J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter is awesome!

MOVIES
Okay, I'm done now. I guess it's pretty clear that there are as well lots and lots of good movies but that's no secret and if you want to know exactly which movies I think are awesome and worth seeing then we probably should just meet up and talk about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

teach me, I'll try teaching you and afterwards we can decide if it worked over sharing a beer.
