I'm new to the travelling experience, but I am planning on exploring Europe mid next year for six months. If anyone has any advice for places that are a must see or any hints about where to stay and what to avoid, please send them my way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to the world of Couchsurfing by a friend, and met other couchsurfers at a pub in Melbourne earlier this year.
Hearing about their experiences is a motivator to start my own travels and look forward to changing this section once I have explored the world a little more.

Interests

If you have a good story... then I am interested! Whether or not you classify it as worthy, any story can be transformed into a magical retell with a comical spin! I would love to share the lives of others, so contact me for a chat.
I am interested in exploring the concept of political justice. The first step is learning through my university studies and the next is to understand the experiences of others and their view of this intricate, almost hypothetical concept.
In terms of everyday activities, I love to catch up with friends for a good chat and a drink, or lie in bed wrapped by a warm blanket and a cuppa.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ever seen Drop Dead Fred? It is a wonderful movie... Nothing beats a thirty year old woman still speaking to her imaginery friend.
Requiem for a Dream is also a must see.
I was captivated by Eugindes 'Middlesex', and learnt more about how our connections as humans spread information in Gladwell's 'Tipping Point'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For those who are visiting Australia, make sure you make a trip to far north Queensland. It is captivating to experience the wondrous aquatic life that survives on the Great Barrier Reef, but be exposed to a tropical rainforest almost 10 metres away.
Also, at Mosman Gorge where we were chased by a wild boar protecting her young, and I've never seen my little sister run as fast as she did!
