ABOUT ME

I grew up in Maine. I've lived within a short walk from it's rocky coast for most of my life, and I can never imagine myself being away from the ocean for too long. I love to be immersed in and humbled by the world around me, going on challenging backpacking trips, watching the sunset, or contemplating infinity. One of my biggest goals in life is to become multi-lingual, because I love to travel, and there is so much to learn from people all over the world. Right now I am working on learning German.
I've loved good food my whole life. When I was four, my favorite foods were chocolate and extra-virgin olive oil. I love cooking, eating, and studying good food.
I also love to do yoga, I care a lot about the environment and I want to help people create healthier relationships with the environment and with the food they eat.

I've hosted a few people at my home in Portland, Maine, and stayed with people when i was traveling in Italy.

Woody Allen, Hayao Miyazaki.. Ratatoulle, Fantasia, so many other great movies. Broad City and Girls. I love to read but I can never decide on favorite books. I like all sorts of genres and lengths, poetry etc..

Backpakcing in Alaska, A month in New Zealand, Spending a semester in the Italian Alps, seeing the view of the valley, all of the mountains and the Dolomites from the top of Mutspitz .
