Overview
About Me
This is Emiliano writing. I’m from Ciudad de México, I’m a philosophy student and a lover of cinema, music and all kind of art. I’m a freak of art history, I could talk about it for hours and days. I’m not shy, I’m very extrovert. It’s easy to me to make new friends to whom walk trough the city or nature, visit museums, go to concerts, hang out and go dancing in the night or just I stay in a cafeteria talking about all and anything. For me is easy to adapt for any circumstance. I have a lot of energy, but I know how to stay in silence and relax.
My dreams splits between making movies, writing and create music: «The Art Life», as David Lynch says. My ‘art name’ is Minotauro, because I find myself in that mythology character and also matches (a little bit) whit my legal name.
I leave my IG, where you can find another way of communication… and there you can see / hear some of my artwork: @Emiliempo

Music, Movies, and Books
In cause I’m a freaky for art history, I love many kind of music… from salsa (I really like to dance it) to black metal (I’m a very good headbanging). I’m obsessed with archeomusicology, and discover world music and new instruments. In music history I’m in love with the medieval and baroque period. I enjoy with the ancient stuff and the brand new. Music is the direct way to the soul.
The cinema is my thing. I’m a DVD collector, I really really love to go to the movie theater, or watch a flick at home. Cinema is another way form of dreaming; I enjoy quirky but original movies… If you know Letterboxd I give you my nickname: eminotauro, I’d like to discover what a new friend is watching.
For books happens the same, I’ve been trying to create my little library. My interests are essays on aesthetics, religion (magic, mythology, paganism), and sometimes politics. Also enjoy novels and poetry like Borges or Pizarnik or experiments like Burroughs. I read I lot for love and for my career.
Music albums I’m in love with:
•Artaud - Pescado Rabioso
•Noite - Sangre de Muérdago
•Songs of Leonard Cohen - Leonard Cohen
•Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols - Sex Pistols
Movies sacred to me:
•India Song - Marguerite Duras
•Andrei Rublev - Andrei Tarkovsky
•Werckmeister Harmonies - Béla Tarr
•The Lighthouse - Robert Eggers
Books for a better life:
•Iliad - Homer
•L'origine de la danse - Pascal Quignard
•The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony - Roberto Calasso
•Concierto Barroco - Alejo Carpentier
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve made some shortfilms, and I'm drummer in a rock band.
Teach, Learn, Share
I Can teach things about my country as music, food, history, mythology and fun facts. I would Iove to cook some typical meal (if we get the ingredients). I Can teach Spanish and slang from México. If we get a drum set i can gladly teach how to play it. And, of course, I’d love to teach about music, movies, literature and all that stuff.
I’m open to learn about everything, i love to get new skills. Knowledge always is complete by hands and brain. I’m fascinated by the idea of discover new cultures and all their artistic expressions.
I Can share everything in my possibilities, but always loyalty, kindness and laughs. I believe in split the duties equally about everything. I’m a clean and organized guy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can create a friendship, share experiences and stories. We can go for walking or partying. I’m always a helpful hand in the house duties. If you need, I’m a very good pet sitter… And I’ll give you a little present from my country.
