Hello, I'm Émilie! I come from France and now I have finished my design studies, I would love to go off to explore the world, other cultures, and people... pushing myself out of habits. With two friends of mine, designers too, we decided to travel to Turkey using as little money and CO2 as possible. To reach our destination, we will travel by bus, train, or hitchhiking.
I'm really happy to dive into this project wholeheartedly and meet you soon :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During the travel, we are gonna stay in each country for one week or two - time to exchange knowledge, culture, practice and also improve our English! Couchsurfing is the best way to meet locals, discuss with the real inhabitants of a country, and discover those places through their point of view, their experience, and their advice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer books to movies, but I love to watch them too.

The book I have preferred over the last few months is "Kilometer 0", maybe it's one of the reasons why I would travel !

I love to listen to music and moreover discover other artists. Actually, my favorite ones are Colt, Gaël Faye, "M" and José Gonzalez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Choose to travel by hitchhiking and backpack for the first time with to friend of mine! Our major aim: meet a lot of people and discover other cultures :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to help you with different tasks. I love to cook: maybe could we exchange some recipes? But I can also do some cleaning, housework and gardening. I aim to share with you ordinary (or extraordinary) moments, sharing experiences, knowledge, or our respective cultures.
