I love to write, sing, sew, and be outdoors. From spring til fall I spend as much time in the garden as I can, growing vegetables for my family and flowers for the local bees (and sometimes just chilling in the garden watching the bees, because they're the most adorably fuzzy bugs). I'm very interested in permaculture and sustainable farming, and hope to someday live in an off-the-grid intentional community.

I play snare drum with Montreal Pipes and Drums, and I also play a bit of ukulele and sing (but probably not well enough to be in any bands). I love music of many genres and I'm happy to jam and sing with people!

I read and write fantasy fiction, and I also really enjoy critically analyzing fiction. I'm a huge fan of the King Arthur legends, and have a very (ridiculously) large collection of Arthurian books.

I have a dog (irish wolfhound mix) and three cats, and I love meeting animals! A trip without getting to pet a dog or cat would be a lonely trip for me, lol.
