One of the different ways I enjoy life is by acquiring as much knowledge and culture as possible, and I'm always working on bettering myself in different ways, which is why I like to think of myself as a work in progress.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to not just take from this amazing community, but also give back as much as I can. In order to do that, I plan on hosting at least 1 CouchSurfer for each time I couchsurfed in the past few years. And everyone who has hosted me is welcome anytime!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I hosted 4 CouchSurfers, and it was a great experience. I got to rediscover my own city by visiting a few neighbourhoods and spots I haven't been to in a long time. I also got to meet great people who has taught me a lot, and host a person who had welcomed me to Brussels the first time I went to Europe! I have couchsurfed myself a few times, alone and with my boyfriend, and have only had very positive experiences so far.

A list of random things I like, in no particular order: baby animals, art, hiking, museums, traveling, treasure-hunting at auctions, flea markets and thrift shops (I own a small vintage rental company), tearooms, tv series, yin yoga, gelato, vegetarian restaurants, flowers (I worked as a floral bouquet creator in a previous life)...

Backpacked through Europe on my own, twice. Crossed the Black Sea on a train riding a boat, felt totally badass while doing so.

My boyfriend and I love to talk about politics, share views and knowledge, and hear about other people's perspective. I'm a "nothing's ever black or white" kind of person and I often make myself the "Devil's advocate", which is why I think I'm good at explaining Quebec politics to people who always saw only ever considered one side of it, no matter which one it is.
