ABOUT ME

Hi, i am new to couchsurfing! i joined to get a better experience out of my travels, and am excited to meet locals. I am 25, and for the past couple of years have been learning about wines and working in a SF winery giving tours and tastings. I'm currently in Germany visiting family but will soon be travelling a bit around Europe.

I am somewhat shy at first, although can easily break out of that if the people I'm talking to are enthusiastic and interested in conversing!

I love going out with friends to bars, music concerts, dinner, etc, but am just as happy staying home in my pjs with a glass of wine and a good TV show or book.

Overall I think I am a nice and chill person and easy to get along with. Wherever I stay I will keep neat, and am more than happy to contribute to household chores. I will even help cook (although I will admit I am not the greatest in the world).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new! Couch surfing is something that I've always wanted to try, but somehow my past travel experiences have always led me to hostels instead.

However, my current travel stint is the first time travelling alone for me, and I fee like couchsurfing will be much more enriching as a solo traveller. I have the opportunity to meet people, get more personal and enriching experiences, and hopefully give someone else an enriching experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Overall I am a big sci-fi/fantasy girl. and those are mostly the only books I read, I am slightly ashamed to admit. I deeply love Harry Potter, like many kids I grew up with the series and it will always be important to me!

Movies: The Matrix, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings trilogy, anything Miyasaki. I have a soft spot for Bollywood films as well :)

TV: Game of Thrones, Firefly, Archer, Workaholics, Broad City,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man Festival is probably the coolest thing I've ever done (twice!). Most amazing artwork, human connections, and atmosphere. Can't recommend it highly enough.
