ABOUT ME
Apart from being a typical French cynic, I like to learn from my travels, uncover cultural stereotypes and convince people to indulge in quality French wine :)
Seriously though, I’m trying to appreciate the world through my studies in Geography. As a student, I got to explore many countries, especially India. I spent 9 months in Mumbai for my master thesis, working with marginalized tribal communities and vulnerable inhabitants of informal settlements.
I got myself immersed in different cultures of Mumbai, finding a deeper appreciation for the crazy contradictions that define Indian cities: full of color, smells and sounds.
I am now back in France, but I am still working on Mumbai; an interest I want to take further through a PhD. In Mumbai, I found a second home, a great circle of friends and a dancing indian lover. We have been together over a year.
I am now visiting him in the US, where he is studying landscape architecture. I am so excited to discover this country I know only through movies, tv shows, food and Clint Eastwood. I really want to make my own opinion of real America and grow away from the stereotypes we (French) usually have.
Looking forward to meeting with you!
Hugs!

Music, Movies, and Books
Comics!
I'm always eager to share about all kind of comics!
My favorite right now... : "Sandman" from Neil Gaiman. But it changes a lot, going from french/belgium comic books to more experimental things. Like "Elmer", a Filipino comic book (from Gerry Alanguilan)about a story that relates how the world reacted when chickens gained intelligence in the 1970s. A must read!
