About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel responsibly around the world and get to know local cultures everywhere I go. When you decide to stay in backpackers hostels you usually have a good time and make new friends, but you could have the exact same experience anywhere. My mission is to get in touch with the culture itself and the way people live in the places I visit.
ABOUT ME
We are a French couple, 28yo. We are now traveling the America's. We decided to quit our jobs in early 2020 to travel from Paris to Asia for a year without taking any plane. But hey, covid happened and plans have changed! So we are living on day to day basis for now 😄
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was hosted by several great people in different places - and got a chance to host back some of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had many, but I guess the most recent is the hikes in Argentina with my best friends, in El Chalten for example.
We spent hours hiking, we were getting so tired we wanted to go back. And then you arrive at the top and the view of the lake with such unreal colours, and the mount covered in snow. And you just sit there, your breath taken away, and wish this feeling never stops.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being hosted is the only way I have found to travel the way I want to.
I have stayed in backpacks before, I will do it again, but my goal is not only to discover places, it is to get into the culture of the places I'm in.
In Argentina, sharing an asado with my amazing host and his friends was the best experience I could live. Showing us around the best spots of the city at night, and then us cooking French food for him. That's the kind of thing I love about couchsurfing.
