Overview
About Me
For the last 10 years, I mostly lived in Paris, but I worked 6 months in Georgia last year, for humanitarian mission as I am a doctor, and 4 months in Guadeloupe during this winter, for work too.
My dad is from Belgium, my mom from Touraine in France. I have 3 brothers and soon a niece!
I like to visit cities but I also really enjoy simply walking or hiking in the nature...
I recently moved to Peyrestortes, near Perpignan and I would be delighted to host travelers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I am planning a 2 months trip to Lebanon through Italy, Greece, and Cyprus on my own, I think it is a perfect opportunity to meet different people leaving in these beautiful countries.
I am very curious about all these cultures and I think that meeting people is one of the best way to discover them. I am open minded, friendly and very flexible.
Now, I have a big and beautiful house near Perpignan, near the Pyrenees, so welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical (Ravel, Poulenc, Brahms) and jazz music (Coltrane, Chet Baker, Terrasson, Hancock) but also cumbia, salsa, samba, african and cuban music... all kind of music as long as it makes me dance!
I love so many different kind of movies...from Tarantino to Jim Jarmush, Wong Kar Wai to Miyazaki, Fellini, Woody Allen and french movies of course! I really enjoyed The Salt of the Earth, Wim Wenders, about photographer Sebastian Salgado.
I enjoy french literature, but I also like american literature. I loved the Turkish novel price's novel, The Museum of Innocence, Orhan Pamuk. Recently, I started the italian saga of Elena Ferrante, Napolitan's novels, and I love it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During one my last scuba diving in Guadeloupe, I could hear a whale's song for almost 45 minutes...it is one of the beautiful and emotional thing I have ever heard!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook eggplant with walnuts in the Georgian style! I can also teach medicine for curious people...
I can play a few piano pieces or songs and love to share it!
I can share my travelling stories...
But I would really like to learn how to cook good mediterranean food!
