Hi all! My name is Emiline, I was born and raised in Washington, DC, but for the last few years I have been traveling, working, and studying around the world. I studied biology and I am very interested in the intersections of environmental conservation and social justice.

I’m a very inquisitive person, and I love learning about new cultures, trying new foods, practicing new languages and understanding other points of view.
Couchsurfing is a way for me to experience how people really live, and those experiences have shaped my entire perspective on the world. More than anything, couchsurfing has made me appreciate the genuine kindest of so many people in the world, and made me want to spread that kindness even further.
