ABOUT ME

We are a couple and have now been together for fifteen years. We have many interests and lots of friends, with whom we like to share. We love nature and sport, cooking for friends and eating out. We like traveling, especially in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North America. But there is still a lot to discover in other corners of this planet! ;-p

We have been living together only in Berlin, but previous to that we have been living in many other places (Paris, Chartres, Oxford, Geneva, Jerusalem, and Louvain, Vienna, Istanbul, etc.).

We have a dog: if you ask to stay, please mention in your request that you are fine with dogs.

We are two tolerant gay guys: we expect the same from others.

PHILOSOPHY

We like to think that we are both two very easy-going and tolerant persons when it comes to gender, race, religion (or non-religion), and politics. We like old-fashioned manners and expect politeness. We respect people with strong ideas, but we believe nobody should impose his or her own on others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live in a nice apartment in the centre of Berlin and love to host guests. When we have time, we also like to show the city and make fun activities together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been hosting quite some people since Summer 2012 and insofar we had only great experiences. Maybe we were lucky... or maybe couchsurfing is just a very good platform to meet and make new friends.

Interessi

Books and literature, music (we are two active performers), especially classical music, food (we love cooking!), wine (we have a true passion for dessert ones), good beer, travels, discovering new cultures and places.

We really love dogs, although we don't have one. Yet! :-)
