CURRENT MISSION

My mission now that I have retired from public education is to use my time to do those things that work got in the way of... travel, fly fishing, working on motorcycles, meeting new people , and making my own schedule.

ABOUT ME

Married with grown children and great (as in "wonderful," not 3 generational!) grandchildren, I now spend time catching up on things that careers and life often interfered with. Having traveled, worldwide in my computer career, I love meeting new people and seeing new places. "Experience, Experience, Experience," as the great American author, Emerson once wrote. I try my hand at writing, gardening, fly fishing, motorcycle riding (which implies repair), reading, and community service. Since this whole "retirement" thing is new, I'm sure I'll discover new ways to expand my world.

I look forward to meeting interesting people from around the world as they travel through Colorado.

Returned from GREAT extended holiday in Poland and Italy. Winter is coming to Colorado, so the skiing is great. Let me know if you're coming my way... but bring your long underwear !!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After 18 months experience, both as a CSer and a Host, I'd have to give CouchSerfing an A+ / Stellar / Wonderful rating. Guests I've had have been enjoyable and enlightening. Hosts, both in Europe and the US have been extrordinary! My intent is to continue both giving and receiving the continual warmth and learning CSing offers.

Interests

I love dogs. My German Shepherd and my Cairn Terrior make every day new and exciting. A sunset over Pikes Peake, at the right time of year, continues to captivate my senses, along with new snow in Garden of the Gods.
