I am a 19-year-old Finnish lad interested in travelling, photography and history. Right now I am taking a year off before continuing my studies with history and / or social policies. As an open-minded person I am always looking for some variety when abroad - be free to leave your suggestion or just start a conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience local culture among the people really living in it. I find couchsurfing an easy way to get on the grassroots level by living and interacting directly with the locals - that must be the best way to feel and experience unfamiliar cultures. For a student budget couchsurfing also offers a bit cheaper way to go and experience during study time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About two years ago I was lucky to got to take part in our high schools' study trip to China. Although the trip took only two weeks the time we spent in our host families and with the study group was something unforgettable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great company of a Finnish lad! I could try to cook some vegetarian food and will surely have a punch of nice photos from Finland on me as well.

If the language interests I could try to teach some words, too.
