Crusty couchsurfer, it has been a long time since I've either hosted or couchsurfed. I do miss meeting fellow surfers, though, and maybe that's enough. Love people with open personalities, wild ambitions, and interesting ideas, particularly if they're into having long and complex discussions about those things. Love good food and a good laugh, a nice warm fire and open hearts.

Experiencing the local side of a place is something that Couchsurfing has come second to none in offering me so far. I live for that authentic experience. When I remember a place I visited, it’s the people I met along the way who made it what it was. If I can continue meeting with local Couchsurfing communities in my future travels, then I’ll be very happy for it.
