Hi!
I'm Emily, and I love to travel. :)
My partner and I quit our jobs in mid 2018 and have been travelling ever since! We've spent a lot of time in Asia and our now looking forward to exploring Europe.

We love meeting people and trading stories. We're friendly, approachable and enjoy a beer too.

Back home, in Australia, I worked as a graduate architect and my partner is an archaeologist turned gardener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel partially because I love to meet people and get a better understanding of the place, culture and life of people everywhere we go!

I don't have much experience couch surfing yet, I have done it before on a friend's account, but CS seems like the type of community where people can make connections with people around the world.

As I'm currently travelling I can't host people at this time, although I hope to be able to in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a hard one! Taking a bus ride on one of the world's most dangerous roads into the remote Indian Himalayas!

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to work on my Dutch or Spanish, and always happy to help people with English, although with an Australian accent!
I play the ukulele (poorly) and the piano (a bit better). Although I don't travel with either.
I also like to cook and bake!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I draw (imperfect) pencil portraits and love to draw people I meet! I have also given informal drawing classes before ;)
