Sobre mí

Just your regular 22-year-old filled with wanderlust.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet like-minded people whilst travelling, people interested in seeing beautiful things, and monuments, and learning about the areas history. I'm basically like a grandma trapped in the body of a young woman.

Also, aside from fellow travellers, I'd like to meet locals who could give me some cool recommendations or show me little city secrets. First round's on me!

Música, películas y libros

Music wise I'll listen to everything from Sinatra to Slipknot.

Most of my favourite movies somehow coincidentally all feature Tom Hardy. Make of that what you will aha :) My favourite film of all time probably has to be Forrest Gump, though.

I read an awful lot, currently I'm reading a book called "The Realm of Possibility" by David Levithan, but mostly I read books based around fact or crime.

Algo increíble que he hecho

It sounds so lame when I actually write it out, but the thing I'm most amazed at and proud of is helping my cat give birth to six kittens. I'm all about cute things and family.

Getting a degree was also quite an amazing achievement, but you know. Kittens.

Emily's Life Lessons

#1 - Don't go into the sea if you have suspicions there are jellyfish lurking around. And don't listen to the locals when they tell you to dab gin on the jellyfish sting that's just appeared on your arse. It really, really hurts.

#2 - Write your dreams, aspirations and wishes down. There is something about writing things down that turns an idea into a reality and lets you see steps into fulfilling those dreams.

#3 - Trust your gut. If you're getting bad vibes from someone, leave. You can't put a price on your own safety, and you'll probably get a better night's sleep because of it.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share crazy stories about London life, will be interested in absolutely everything you say and can make a pretty marvellous cup of tea.
