About Me

I'm general easy to make laugh and smile, it doesn't take much to make me happy.

People have described me as kind and friendly and I like to think I'm easy to get on with. My interests are many, from reading to clubbing, and I'm generally open minded and able to relate or empathise with most viewpoints in life. I'm a bit of a gamer and it'd be a bonus to stay with someone owning any of the new consoles or just have someone to have a 2 player game with. I also love karaoke and would be totally up for a good sing song if you had a karaoke machine, or just enjoy putting on a cd and having a good sing along.

Really looking forward to meeting new peeps, I've been a hermit for too long x

(Sorry I'm unable to accept guests but literally have no couch as well as unpredictable health.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just signed up and it's fantastic to see so many people willing to share their homes :)
I literally joined with the hope of simply finding somewhere to stay for a couple of nights, I didn't realise I'd discover such a vibrant universal community! The events look like amazing fun and everyone so down to earth, but for the moment all I literally ask for is a couch to serf on! Lol. I don't expect you to show me the town or cook my meals, but if you wanted to go out anywhere I'd like to think I'd be sound company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ermm...I survived 6 operations before I was 1 and still have the same kidney I had transplanted 12 years ago after over a decade of abuse!

Teach, Learn, Share

.... Random, but This is something that's been on my mind a bit lately. Always approach situations , and people, with a calm and level head. Acting out of one's anger, ego or fear always makes things worse and its too easy to go too far without realisin. Allowing yourself the time to let your feelings subside and gain a more rational and understanding mind gives life and others the chance to surprise you by being shown the better side of someone or, and this has happened to me a few times, thing's turning out better than you could have imagined.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A few drinks, a good laugh and maybe some of the wisdom I'd like to think I've cultivated from life's trails and, without sounding too dramatic, pains. I believe life is the best teacher as long as your willing to learn from it.
