我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm traveling the amazing country of New Zealand with my friend Annah. Her and her boyfriend Miles have met wonderful people in beautiful cites across the United States while using Couchsurfing. Through traveling around with her I hope to make similar connections with people around New Zealand. I'd like to eventually return the favor and host people myself one day.

I love studying architecture and interiors. I am passionate about design, and how people interact with the built environment.
I am a vegetarian, and love finding and trying new creative recipes as alternatives to meat.
I love traveling on the road. Road trips add to the experience of the place and the excitement of the destination.
Most of all I love spending time with my family, whether it's camping, hiking, or just playing with my dog.

Most of the music I listen to can be categorized as alternative folk/ alternative rock. It's pretty random, I like anything from Bob Dylan to The Flaming Lips. I'm always open to trying out new bands too.
I watch more TV than movies, basically anything anyone could possibly binge watch on Netflix.
Wuthering Heights has always been one of my favorite books. The Harry Potter series holds an incredibly special place in my heart as well.

Early July I hopped on a plane to New Zealand for five months not knowing a single person. I know this journey has many more amazing things in store!
