Hello!

My name is Emily, and I am new to the couchsurfing trend, but I'm super eager to get involved! I am a student at West Virginia University, and I currently live in a dormitory as an RA. I am about to get two degrees in public relations and geography, and I am looking into graduate schools right now. I love meeting new people and going on adventures. As a Morgantown native, I know this town in and out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and trying new things. I would also love to host some folks, particularly those looking to go to WVU. As I live in a dorm, you could have a great opportunity to see what the school is like and the best places to live on campus. (I also have a lot of free meals, and though they aren't the best, I can provide some free food!)

Interests

Like everyone else on here, I love traveling and meeting new people. I love hiking and spending time outdoors. I definitely don't do it enough.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of a wide range of music--jazz, rock, blues, classical, etc. I usually watch dumb comedies, but I can watch anything that isn't too gory! As for books, I like to read the classics and biographies about my favorite people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I studied and worked in rural Jamaica, and I loved it so much I'm going back this March! Jamaica is one of my favorite places I've been to, and I just love the people (and food) so much!
