Hey, whats up everyone! My name is Emily but my friends all just call me Em. I'm 21 years old and from a beautiful little town called West Chester, PA that is about 45 minutes from Philadelphia. I love to laugh and have a good time! I recently graduated from the University of Delaware where I studied International Relations with a focus in Development and Latin America. I am currently working for a mortgage lender-- I was in sales but now I'm in a recruiting role! Eventually I'd like to work in the non-profit sector but I'm not quite sure in what capacity yet. I love my job and I work a lot, but in my free time I love to be outside, hike, cook, read, listen to music, shop, taste wine, write letters, craft, and day dream about my next traveling adventure. I can't host at this time because I don't have room in my apartment with my roommate, but I love to meet people and hear about the cool things they're up to. Currently living outside of Baltimore and down to hang!

I spent a month in Santiago to work and practice my Spanish and I didn't know anyone in the city when I first arrived. I've always loved to meet people and try new things but my first time in a city with a language barrier and no connections was intimidating! I used couchsurfing and ended up meeting some incredible, fun people who made my time away from "home" wonderful.
I can't host yet because I live in a tiny apartment with 3 other students but I'm on couchsurfing now because I want to welcome people who are new to a city or just looking to hangout and share and have a good time! :) life's all about the people you meet and experiences you share!
