Hi y'all! I'm American and a student at the University of Alabama. I am studying abroad in Perugia, Italy this semester and living la dolce vita. I love to cook, eat & drink, experience new cultures, do anything related to farming and plants, and am hoping to have some incredible new experiences through Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for cool places to stay with locals, where I really feel at home and am able to understand and appreciate the community better. Couchsurfing feels much more personal than staying in a hotel or hostel.

I love the movies "Little Miss Sunshine", "The Royal Tenenbaums", and "Harold and Maude." Favorite books include "Everything is Illuminated" and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time." I enjoy all kinds of music and love discovering new kinds!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited South Africa this past December and January. It was the most amazing and magical place I have ever been.

Wherever I visit, I would love to learn about life in that neighborhood and city so that I really feel like a member of the community. I love learning about local foods and customs. I have lots of knowledge about plants and gardening and would love to share that with others!
